InformationBodyBluevine Account Administrators (and Authorized User - Company Administrators) can issue and manage virtual and physical debit cards via the Bluevine dashboard and the mobile app. How to view and manage the cards associated with your account Administrators (and Authorized User - Company Administrators) can view and make changes to any cards associated with their account. Sign in to the Bluevine dashboard. Click the settings icon in the upper right-hand corner. Within the Settings menu, select Debit Card. You can do the following on this page: Issue a new card to an Additional UserView card detailsLock and unlock cardsSet or change PINActivate a cardReport card lost or stolenClose cardsEdit daily and monthly spending rulesEdit ATM access How to issue debit cards Note: Before a card can be issued to a user, they must be an active Additional User on the account (or have been invited within the last 14 days to be an Additional User). To add an Additional User, refer to this support article. Administrators (and Authorized User - Company Administrators) can issue physical or virtual debit cards from any of their main or sub-accounts to themselves and Additional Users. Each cardholder is limited to one active physical card per account (main and sub). Across all accounts, businesses can have up to a total of 50 active physical/virtual debit cards. Closed cards do not count against this limit. Sign in to the Bluevine dashboard. Verify that the user you wish to add is an Additional User on the account. The Additional user status must be “Active” or “Pending Activation”. If the user’s invitation has expired, you must re-send the invitation to issue the card. Refer to this support article. Select the settings icon in the upper right-hand corner. Within the Settings menu, select Debit Card. Click the Issue a Card button. Select the card type: physical or virtual, then click Next. Select the account or sub-account the card will be connected to. Select a cardholder from the drop-down menu. Only active or recently invited (14 days or less) Additional Users will populate. If the invitation for the user has expired, you will need to re-send the invitation before being able to issue them a card.Cardholders are required to have the following information on file: Date of birthSocial security numberMobile phone numberShipping address (required for physical cards only) If the selected cardholder is missing required information, you will be prompted to add details: You can choose to complete the user profile now or ask the user to complete their profile.The card will be issued once the user’s profile is complete. (Optional) Click Edit next to the spending rules to set custom spending limits for this card for added peace of mind. You can manage the cardholder’s daily spend limit, monthly spend limit, and ATM access. The daily spend limit is based on a calendar day (Mountain Time), and the monthly spend limit is based on a rolling 30-day period. Click Save to confirm the spending rules listed. A confirmation screen will appear, confirming an email will be sent to the Additional User. The email will be sent to the email address on file for the Additional User. Click Done to return to the main screen or Issue another card to issue additional cards. Invitation Process for New Cardholders After a new card is issued, the Additional User will receive an email with additional instructions: Click on Sign in or View card details to sign in to the Bluevine dashboard.If needed, follow the prompts through the setup process. Once complete, confirm to continue to your dashboard. Timeframes for New Cards Physical card: New cards are sent to the cardholder’s shipping address on file in 7-10 business days. Virtual card: New virtual cards are accessible immediately and can be added to virtual wallets, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. Refer to our support article for more information. Please note that cardholder user profiles must be complete with all required information prior to card shipping (physical) or activation (virtual). How to view additional cardholder transactions Transactions initiated by additional cardholders are visible under the Checking tab on your Bluevine dashboard. You can see which cardholder initiated the transaction by clicking on it to view more details. How to remove a debit card from your account As an Administrator (or Authorized user - Company Administrator), you can remove physical or virtual cards from your account at any time Sign in to the Bluevine dashboard. Select the settings icon in the upper right-hand corner. Select Debit Card. Under Card management, click on the applicable physical or virtual card. Select Close card. Note: Card closures cannot be undone. How to manage debit card spending rules You can manage daily spend limits, monthly spend limits, and ATM access settings for all issued debit cards. Daily spend limits are based on the calendar day (Mountain Time), and monthly spend limits are based on a rolling 30-day period. Administrators (or Authorized user - Company Administrators) have the option to set and adjust custom spending rules for each virtual and physical card issued to the account at any time through the Bluevine dashboard: Sign in to the Bluevine dashboard. Select the settings icon in the upper right-hand corner. Select Debit Card. Select the applicable card to open its details, and then click Edit next to spending rules.
