How do I receive international payments?

To receive an incoming international payment into your account, you’ll need to provide the following information to the sender:

If correspondent BIC is required by your sender’s bank, refer to the table here as it varies depending on the currency they are sending

From what countries and in which currencies does Bluevine accept payments?

We accept payments from most countries, but restrict or limit them in the following jurisdictions:

Is there a fee for receiving an international payment?

The fee for receiving an international payment is dependent on your Bluevine plan type:

When will I receive my payment?

Most international payments are received within one business day. 

If you haven’t received your payment within five business days of the sender initiating the payment:

  • Contact your sender to have them verify with their bank that the payment was sent and that all the details listed above were included and accurate with the payment.
    • Verify that Bluevine is listed as the beneficiary on line 57 of the MT103 as this is a common reason we aren’t able to receive the payment.
  • If the sender has verified this information, please have them send you a copy of the MT103 and contact us so we can review it.

Note: An MT103 is a standardized source of proof of payment document that can be provided by a bank or institution sending money through the SWIFT network. Learn more about MT103’s here.1
