Can I add the same Bluevine debit card on multiple devices; for example, Apple Pay on my iPhone and Google Pay on my Android tablet? Yes, you can add your Bluevine Business Debit Mastercard to any of the devices we are compatible with. Can my business partner also add my Bluevine debit card to their Apple Pay/Google Pay/Samsung Pay, even though their name isn't on the card? For security reasons, we don’t recommend giving another user access to your debit card. Additionally, when adding the card to your mobile wallet, you will need to validate the card by entering a code sent to the mobile phone number on file, and this cannot be done using your business partner’s number. To issue your authorized users their own debit card, see this support article. Do I need to call the phone number provided if I want to verify my card for my mobile wallet? Can't you help me? We cannot verify your card on our end. You’ll have to either call the phone number provided or opt-in to receive a text for verification. How do I know using a mobile wallet keeps my card information safe and secure? Apple Pay1: According to Apple’s website, “Apple Pay is safer than using a plastic credit, debit, or prepaid card. Every transaction on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac requires you to authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. Your Apple Watch is protected by the passcode that only you know, and your passcode is required every time you put on your Apple Watch or when you pay using Apple Pay. Your card number and identity aren’t shared with the merchant, and your actual card numbers aren’t stored on your device or on Apple servers.” Google Play1: According to Google’s website, “Google Pay uses a process called tokenization to save your card. Tokenization is a method of replacing your sensitive payment card information (Card Number, Expiration Date, CVV, etc.) with a device-specific ‘Token’ which acts as a surrogate value that is then used for processing payments instead of the sensitive card information. Tokens are used to protect your payment information and to reduce the security risks inherent to plastic cards.” Samsung Pay1: According to Samsung’s website, "Samsung Pay goes out of its way to safeguard your privacy. It uses several special security methods, like tokenization, to secure your personal and financial information. On top of this, Samsung Knox constantly monitors and protects your phone from malware and other threats. In a nutshell, Samsung Pay is super secure.” For additional information or questions, reach out to your provider. What card information can the vendor access when I make a purchase using my mobile wallet? The card information supplied to the vendor will depend on the provider you are using (Apple, Samsung, or Google). We recommend accessing their website to find the specific information they share when making a purchase. 1 This link will take you to a third party website, owned and operated by an independent party over which Bluevine has no control ("3rd Party Website").
