Debit and Credit Card Disputes A card dispute is related to a transaction on your Bluevine Business Checking account where your Bluevine Debit Mastercard or Bluevine Business Cashback Mastercard information was used to process the transaction. Some common types of card transaction disputes include, but are not limited to, the following: Unauthorized transaction (fraud)Product or services not receivedCanceled goods or servicesCharged incorrectly Filing a Card Dispute To file a Card dispute, be prepared with the following information: Transaction date(s)Transaction amount(s)Merchant name(s)Reason for the disputeProvide supporting documentation if possible Examples of supporting documentation: receipt, credit receipt, proof of cancellation, proof of return, etc Once the transaction is posted to your account, you can file a dispute for the charge on your Bluevine Dashboard, through this form, or by contacting our Support team via phone or email. For more information, visit our support article here. Note: Bluevine must be contacted no later than sixty (60) days after the transaction posted to the account in order to initiate a card dispute. Disputes may take up to ninety (90) days for resolution. Non-Card Disputes A non-card dispute is related to a transaction on your Bluevine Business Checking account where your bank account and routing number were used to process the transaction. Some common types of non-card transaction disputes include but are not limited to the following: ACH DebitOutgoing Money TransferOutgoing Wire TransferCheck Disputes Note: Bluevine is generally only able to dispute non-card transactions that are considered unauthorized. Unauthorized non-card transactions are transactions where you did not initiate an outbound transfer, an ACH/Wire, or write a check on the Bluevine Business Checking account. In order for us to confirm a transaction was unauthorized, we may require you to provide additional supporting documentation as part of our investigation process. Filing a Non-Card Dispute To file a dispute for an unauthorized non-card transaction, be prepared with the following information: Transaction Date(s)Transaction Amount(s)Merchant or Recipient NameReason for the dispute Note: Immediate notification of an unauthorized non-card transaction is critical. Notify Bluevine no later than 1:00pm Eastern Time on the business day following the date the funds were debited from your account. Our ability to process a claim for unauthorized transactions may be inhibited if we receive a report later than this timeframe. However, we will make our best effort to work with the originating bank or payee to recover these funds on your behalf, if applicable. If, for any reason, Bluevine is unable to resolve the dispute or recover the funds, you will need to work directly with the originator or recipient of the transaction to resolve the issue.
