To change your verification number, be sure to:

• Access your Bluevine dashboard from a web browser. Currently, you can only update your number from a web browser, not on the mobile app.

• Complete any outstanding tasks. Once you sign in, check if you have any outstanding tasks by clicking the bell icon on your dashboard. The bell will have a red dot if tasks are pending.

• Check that your new verification number is a US number capable of receiving SMS messages.

To update your verification number, click Update Phone Number during sign in or go to the Sign In & Security section of your Profile and click Edit.

Update at the Sign-In Page

1. You will be given the opportunity to change the verification number during the sign in process.

   • If this option is not available, sign in using an incognito browser window to trigger it.
      

2. A verification email will be sent.

   

   • Once you verify your email address, you can return to this window and continue the steps to update your phone number.

3. Enter the new number you’d like to use to verify your account and be associated with your profile.
   

4. We’ll send a code to the new phone number to complete the verification process. Please enter the code when prompted, and click Verify and finish.

Update from the Profile Tab 

1. To update the Verification Number on your Bluevine Dashboard, sign in on a web browser and navigate to the Profile page. Select Edit next to the number you want to update.
   

2. To keep your account secure, we’ll send a code to the existing phone number on file. Please enter the code when prompted and click Confirm.

3. Once your old number has been verified, you can enter your new verification phone number. Click Next to finish.
