InformationBodyIf you've changed phone numbers or no longer have access to the number you use for multi-factor authentication (MFA), you can update it from your Bluevine dashboard or during sign in. To help protect your account, we'll verify your identity before you can change the number used to receive MFA verification codes. Follow the steps below to update your verification number. Before you begin To change your verification number, be sure to: Complete any outstanding account tasks. You can check if you have any outstanding tasks by clicking the bell icon on your dashboard. Make sure your new verification number is capable of receiving SMS messages.Use a web or mobile browser (not the Bluevine mobile app) to complete the steps below. How to change your MFA phone number Step 1. Getting started You can change your MFA phone number using one of the following options to get started: From the Bluevine sign-in page if you no longer have access to your current MFA phone numberFrom your Bluevine dashboard if you still have access to your current MFA phone number From the Bluevine sign-in page If you no longer have access to your current MFA phone number, you can request to change it from the sign-in page: Navigate to the sign-in page using either an unrecognized device or an incognito/private browser window.Enter your login credentials, then select Sign in.Select Update phone number and follow the on-screen instructions. From your Bluevine dashboard If you have access to your current MFA phone number, you can request to change it using the steps below: Sign in to your Bluevine dashboard on a web or mobile browser.Navigate to your Profile > Sigh In & Security.Select Edit next to the number you want to update. Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your current MFA phone number using a push notification or one-time SMS code. Step 2. Verify your email Next, we will send an email to the email address on file. Check your inbox for the verification email from Bluevine. Tip: Check your spam folder if it doesn’t appear in your inbox Open the verification email from Bluevine, and select the Verify email now button. Step 3. Verify your identity To keep your account secure, we’ll ask you to provide some information to verify your identity. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter the information requested.Select Next to continue. Step 4. Provide and verify your new number As a final step, you'll be prompted to enter your new MFA number and verify it using a one-time SMS code. Enter your new MFA phone number.Select Next to send a verification code to the number you provided. Next, enter the verification code we sent you.Select Verify and finish.
