As part of Bluevine’s Accountant Partner Program, every Qualified Referral you send to Bluevine who opens their account and meets eligibility requirements will earn your accounting firm a special bonus. The more clients you refer, the larger the bonus, up to $300 per funded account.¹

Accountant Firm Administrators can enroll their firm in the incentive program.  

How do I sign my firm up?

Email your account executive or accountant.partners@bluevine.com, and we’ll work with you to collect the information we need to enroll your firm.

What is a qualified referral? 

For an accounting firm to receive credit for Qualified Referrals, invited clients must use the accounting firm’s referral code or referral link when opening their account and meet the following eligibility requirements:

• The client must be approved for a Bluevine Business Checking account and fund the account with a total of $1,000 within 30 days of account opening, and
  • Maintain a minimum daily balance of $1,000 beginning on the 31st day after account opening and ending on the 60th day after account opening.
  • Spend at least $1,000 on Eligible Transactions with their Bluevine Business Debit Mastercard®.¹

When do payouts for referrals occur? 

Your accounting firm will receive an incentive payment within 30 days of the end of each calendar month for the previous month’s qualified referrals.

Are there tax implications for participating?

Incentives earned through the accountant partner program may qualify as taxable income and may be reported on IRS form 1099-MISC. You are responsible for any federal or state taxes resulting from the promotion. Please consult your tax advisor if you have questions about tax treatment.
