If you’ve misplaced your Bluevine debit or credit card but don’t believe it’s lost or stolen, you can temporarily lock (freeze) your card at any time. This applies to both physical and virtual cards.

You can easily lock or unlock your Bluevine debit or credit card in one of three ways:

1. From your Bluevine Dashboard (web): Click here for instructions on how to lock or unlock your card.

2. From the Bluevine mobile app: Click here for instructions on how to lock or unclock your card via the mobile app.

3. By phone via our IVR (available 24/7): Click here for instructions on how to lock your card via phone 

   1. Note: The ability to unlock your card is not available via phone.

How to lock or unlock your card from your dashboard

1. Sign in to your Bluevine dashboard

2. Select the Settings icon in the upper right-hand corner

3. Select the appropriate tab based on what card type you would like to lock or unlock, either Debit Card or Credit Card

4. Select the card you would like to manage to open the card details

5. Click the ‘Card status’ toggle to switch to Locked or Active

   • Note: The card can only be unlocked by the user who requested to lock it. For example, if the Administrator locked the Authorized User’s debit card on their behalf, the Administrator must unlock the card.

How to lock your card from your Bluevine mobile app 

1. Sign in to your Bluevine mobile app

2. Select Profile on the bottom menu, then Debit Card or Credit Card depending on the card type you would like to manage

3. Click the ‘Card status’ toggle to switch to Locked or Active
