You can easily establish a connection between your QuickBooks Online account and the Bluevine Bills tab through your Bluevine Dashboard. Follow these steps to set up a connection between your QuickBooks and Bluevine accounts:
How to connect QuickBooks Online to your Bluevine Dashboard
- Sign in to your Bluevine Dashboard.
- Click Bills on the left-hand side.
- Click Connect to QuickBooks.
- Sign in with your Intuit login information. Contact QuickBooks if you do not know your sign-in information or have issues logging in with your information.
- Follow the prompts to go through the Multi-Factor Authentication process you set up with Intuit.
- Read through the access agreement and click Connect.
- Once connected, you can view your integration under the External Accounts section of your Bluevine Dashboard or under Apps in QuickBooks Online.
Troubleshooting Steps for Quickbooks Connection or Syncing Issues
If you have trouble connecting or QuickBooks is not syncing, we recommend going through the following troubleshooting steps:

- The sync between Bluevine and QuickBooks can take up to 1 minute. If you aren’t seeing any updates after that time, refresh your browser.
- Clear your browsing data, cache, and cookies.
- Use a different browser; we recommend using the most up-to-date version of Google Chrome.
- Make sure you are using the desktop or mobile web version of your Bluevine Dashboard. This feature is not available on the mobile app at this time.
- The sync between Bluevine and QuickBooks can take up to 1 minute. If you aren’t seeing any updates after that time, refresh your browser.
Note: if you connect your primary Bluevine account through the QuickBooks Online banking dashboard, please name that account "Bluevine Checking" in QuickBooks Online. This ensures that everything will sync appropriately. We will not be supporting payments sync for sub-accounts at this time.
