Applying for a Bluevine Business Checking account usually takes just minutes; if you’re approved, you’ll be ready to set up your account in no time.
Here’s how our application process works:
Get started
You’ll start by creating a login and providing this basic information:
- Entity Type
- First and last name
- Email address
- Mobile phone number
- A secure password
Tell us about your business
Next, we’d like to get to know a little about your business:
- Legal business name
- DBA name (if applicable)
- Business address
- Work phone number
- Website
- Your industry
- Annual revenue
- Entity type
- Tax ID/EIN
- We may request additional business documentation.
Tell us about yourself
Finally, we also want to learn a little about you:
Information:
- First and last name
- Home address
- Date of birth
- SSN
- Mobile phone number (MFA number)
- Ownership percentage of the business
- Any additional owners who own 25% or more of the business
Initial documentation:
- The front and back of your driver's license
Additional owners:
If any individual(s) own 25% or more of the business, we’ll need this information about them, too:
- First and last name
- Date of birth
- SSN
- Address
- Ownership percentage
- Front and back of driver's license
After you complete the above, we will send an activation email to your provided email address.
Monthly Transaction Volume:
Provide your estimated transaction volume across all your accounts so we can understand how you operate your business.
Select your plan
During the application process, you may have the option to select your plan type, Standard or Premier. Otherwise, you’ll have the ability to change plans once your application is approved and your dashboard is activated. Please see our support article on the Premier plan for more information.
We’ll review your application
Depending on your location and/or business type, we might ask you for some additional business documentation. Then we’ll verify it and notify you of any updates via email.
After approval, what comes next?
If you’re approved, review and confirm our Business Checking Account Agreement and order your debit card. Your debit card should arrive in 7–10 business days, but it may take longer due to holidays or shipping delays.
The Bluevine Business Debit Mastercard is issued by Coastal Community Bank, Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Mastercard International Incorporated and may be used everywhere Mastercard is accepted.
