If your business falls under the “Accommodation and Food Services” North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 72, you may be eligible for 3.5x your average monthly payroll for your Second Draw PPP loan if you meet all other PPP eligibility requirements. When applying for PPP, you may select “Accommodation and Food Services” as your industry only if one of the following is true:
- The business activity code you reported on your most recent income tax filing starts with 72, or
- If you left your business activity code blank on your most recent income tax filing, then (1) NAICS Code 72 must be the most applicable industry activity code for your primary business activity, and (2) you must be able to substantiate this industry activity code with alternative documentation like permits or licenses that are issued by local governments and unique to your sector
