Here are the most common issues you may have when using mobile check deposit
There was a problem uploading your check
Try submitting the check again using our automatic check capture mode. Place your check on a dark background with minimal shadows, and make sure the check is well-lit. Closely align the photo box on your Bluevine app to your check so we can automatically take a picture. We also recommend switching to either wifi or a cellular network when retrying.
Check denied
The most common reason we’ll deny a check is if we’re unable to confirm its validity. Try depositing with automatic check capture again, in case there’s an issue with the first photo. If your check is still denied, please confirm that the check is valid with its issuer.
Is your mobile app up to date?
If you’re having any issues with mobile check deposit, make sure that you are using the most updated version of the Bluevine app.
To verify, visit the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), depending on your device. Search for the Bluevine app in the store or your list of downloaded apps. If the Bluevine app page says Update, then tap Update to download the latest version. If the app page says Open, then you have the latest available version installed.
