EIN Confirmation Letter
If BlueVine needs additional documentation to verify your business, we require you to provide your EIN Confirmation Letter, also known as EIN Confirmation Letter (CP 575). This letter was provided by the IRS when you were assigned your Employee Identification Number. For information on how to obtain your EIN Confirmation Letter, please review this article from the IRS. See below for an example of an EIN Confirmation Letter.
Of note, we are unable to accept the EIN Verification Letter (147C) or similar documentation; we are requiring the original EIN Confirmation (CP 575) Letter. To ensure successful processing, provide a downloaded or scanned high-quality PDF copy of your EIN Confirmation Letter. We may not be able to process picture copies of this document.
General FAQs
What if I don’t have my EIN Confirmation Letter?
If you’re unable to provide your EIN Confirmation Letter, we can’t verify your business and will not open your BlueVine Business Checking Account. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. We encourage you to reapply in the future if you locate your EIN Confirmation Letter.
How can I get my documents reviewed quickly?
- Review the information above and upload your EIN Confirmation Letter as soon as possible. The sooner you sign in to your BlueVine dashboard and provide the requested document, the sooner our team will be able to review it.
- Upload the correct document. Ensure you upload your EIN Confirmation Letter (CP 575) and not the EIN Verification Letter (147C). The EIN Confirmation letter is the original document provided by the IRS when you were assigned your Employee Identification Number. The EIN Verification Letter is provided by the IRS if you requested a copy of your EIN Confirmation Letter.
- Upload a clear document. Ensure that your uploaded document is not blurry. We require downloaded or scanned documents as they are much easier to process than photos of documents. If the document is illegible or blurry, it may not be processed.
How do I know if my document has been accepted?
The BlueVine team will contact you via email if your document has been approved.
