What is a bank connection?
A bank connection provides a read only view into your online banking. We will only be able to see a line-by-line history of your most recent transaction data, which we use to determine if your business qualifies for our services. BlueVine is trusted by thousands of small businesses across the country and we are certified by Intuit and the Better Business Bureau.
Why do I need it?
We encourage you to make a bank connection because it helps our underwriters make a quicker decision regarding the status of your application. Prospective clients who make a bank connection will typically hear back from us 24 hours faster than those who upload their bank statements manually. For existing clients, having a bank connection means they will not have to upload statements each month and results in faster turnaround times.
Bank Connection Disconnected?
If your bank connection is disconnected, we will notify you immediately via email. Bank disconnections can occur for multiple reasons, however it does not have any impact on pending debits and credits in the account. In order to re-establish the bank connection, we may ask you for additional security information or ask you for your password for verification.
To reconnect, go to “Profile” and click on “Online Accounts” on your BlueVine Dashboard. Under “Bank Accounts” you should see an option to Reconnect. Click on Reconnect and enter the information needed.
